Privacy Policy
ghostnode LLC ("ghostnode," "we," "us") is an independent software studio in Payson, Utah. This policy explains what information our apps and website collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we try to collect as little as possible.
Our approach
- Each app collects only what it needs to work. Each app's section below says what it collects, where it's stored, and whether it uses an account.
- We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Where an app uses a third-party service (for example, an ad network), we say so below, app by app.
Information we receive directly
Email. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help you, and we keep it only as long as needed for that.
Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address. Apple tells us only that a purchase or refund happened, along with aggregated sales reports. Apple's handling of purchase data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
App Store analytics. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may give us aggregated, anonymized statistics such as crash reports and download counts. We can't use this to identify you.
Our website
ghostnodeapps.com is a simple static website hosted by Cloudflare. It uses no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Wild Round
Data you enter
Player names, scores, game history and stats are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device storage. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Advertising (free version)
The free version of Wild Round shows a single banner ad provided by Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads only, and the app does not ask for permission to track you (App Tracking Transparency), so Google can't use your device's advertising identifier.
Even for non-personalized ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects some information automatically in order to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and prevent fraud. This can include:
| Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device and app information | Device model, operating system version, app version, language, screen size |
| Approximate location | General location derived from your IP address (not precise GPS location) |
| Ad interaction data | Ads shown, taps on ads, and similar advertising data |
| Diagnostics | Performance data and crash information related to the ads SDK |
| Identifiers | An app-specific identifier used for frequency capping and fraud prevention; the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not available to the SDK because we don't request tracking permission |
Google handles this information under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy. Your scores and player names are never shared with Google.
To turn off ads entirely, buy Wild Round Pro. Once you're Pro, the app no longer starts the ads SDK, so none of the information above is collected.
Wild Round Pro
Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple, as described under "Purchases" above. The app checks your purchase status with Apple on your device.
Children
Our apps are made for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
- App data: you control it. Delete games in the app, or delete the app to remove everything.
- Ads: buying Pro removes ads. Wild Round never asks to track you; you can also turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track in your iPhone's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Emails you sent us: ask us to access or delete them at [email protected].
Depending on where you live (for example, California, Utah, or the European Union), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. For apps that keep your data only on your device, most requests will concern emails you've sent us or data held by the third parties named above. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
Security and retention
Data an app keeps on your device is protected by your iPhone's built-in security. If an app stores data on our servers, its section above says how it's protected and how long it's kept. Emails are kept only as long as needed to help you, and then deleted.
Changes to this policy
If we add an app or change how an app handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
